Old fashioned English pub and community hub. Serving well kept cask-conditioned real ale that has an excellent reputation both locally and visitors, because the landlord knows how to keep beer correctly. Serves good quality, home made food at lunch and in the evening. Becky's pies are a local favourite and fresh home made specials are served regularly, along with Becky's mum June's delicious desserts! A last bastion of English tradition in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.

We are a small pub, with a strong focus on real ale. We serve lunch Tuesday to Friday (12 Noon - 1.30Pm). We have a pie night every Wednesday (6pm - 8.00Pm) and we serve roast dinners on a Sunday (5pm - 6.30Pm). However, we don't serve food on any other evenings.
