The Royal Oak reopened, after a 4 month closure for refurbishment, in May 2017, under new management. The pub has been tastefully modernised whilst still holding onto its traditional village pub charm and offers a warm welcome to all and sundry and something to please all, whether it be a pint of well kept Real Ale, a taste of something new with our Gin of the Week, a light lunch or a 3 Course Celebratory Dinner.

Our food is simple and tasty. We do ploughman's lunches using the best quality cheese and ham, toasted sandwiches, home-made soup, quiches and cakes. Most are accompanied by our delicious salads. We have a range of drinks, both soft and alcoholic, as well as a range of Fairtrade teas and coffees.
